SM-PACT India is a not-for-profit organization aspiring to help improve the quality of life of the marginalized section of society. To empower the disadvantaged by creating rewarding livelihoods is a calling the founders of the organization discovered while working tirelessly for the poor and the ultra-poor in different parts of India. The organization designs and strives to deliver community-driven solutions to impact anti-poverty programs by way of enabling the marginalized to participate proactively in the change process. To contribute meaningfully towards building a happy society is the organization’s key goal. It believes in putting in place a sustainable, scalable, replicable and accountable model of development.
SM-PACT India Foundation is a not-for-profit, mission-driven organization established in March 2022 aspiring to transform the lives of the marginalized sections of society through sustainable and holistic interventions to make lives happier in collaboration with key stakeholders and potential change makers.
SM-PACT India Foundation endeavours to better the lives of the marginalized section of society. Backed by a vastly experienced & passionate team of professionals from diverse sectors, the organization strives to identify & address the problems by designing contextually suitable interventions through community-driven initiatives for evidence-based advocacy and scale-up. We aspire to work closely with Governments, Corporates and Civil Society Organizations with similar goals.
Our solutions are aimed at benefiting underprivileged children & women, unemployed youths, and vulnerable groups in its pursuit of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the global campaign against hunger and poverty.
We provide contextually appropriate livelihood interventions for the marginalized by empowering them with skills and entrepreneurship capabilities, inclusive education for the children, and preventive health care& nutrition.
We accentuate on Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) for building a robust decision support system to accelerate action and attain the objectives. The MEAL also supports in creating evidence for advocacy and scale-up.
The organization believes that creating resilient livelihoods, freeing the poor from poverty and lending them a life of dignity is the premise on which an empowered, self-sustained society is built. SM-PACT’s initiatives are primed towards providing an impetus to India’s collective cause of poverty alleviation and in doing so, the organization has been impacting the process of social-sector development in an efficacious manner.
SM-Pact identifies the bottlenecks, their root causes and creates innovative solutions to benefit children, the unemployed youth, underprivileged women, and vulnerable groups in its pursuit of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that call all nations to action in the global campaign against hunger and poverty.
SM-Pact also positions itself as a consultancy that runs parallel to the organisation’s social-sector initiatives.We work closely with the private sector, the central and state Governments, not-for-profit foundations, CSR arms of India Inc., and international agencies for a community-centric approach towards bettering lives, of both initiators and receivers.
Carbon Imprint & Low-Carbon Livelihood: Agricultural systems carry a “carbon imprint” that affects soil health, water quality, biodiversity and rural incomes. SM-PACT’s low-cost natural farming and waste-to-wealth work reduce emissions, increase soil organic carbon, and strengthen household resilience. Our program treats carbon reduction as both a climate action and a direct livelihood intervention.

In short, we facilitate to conduct research, pilot projects, plan implementation, partnerships, outreach, and IT-enabled technical solutions. The revenue generated from this consultancy is ploughed back into its social-sector initiatives

The organization understands that women and children are often the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in society with a lack of access to resources, education, and healthcare, which are critical for their development and well-being.
