Our Approach

  • Design and develop logic models for the foundations of MEAL in projects. These tools include the Theory of Change, Results Frameworks, and Logical Frameworks (log frames).
  • Planning for MEAL using practical tools that include Performance Management Plans, Indicator Performance Tracking, Impact Evaluation Measurement etc.
  • Design and develop bespoke digital platforms with integrated GIS mapping for implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning systems and frameworks
  • Collect MEAL data by developing and using well-designed qualitative & quantitative data collection digital tools, appropriate sampling methods, and recommended data management practices.
  • Analyze MEAL data by using quantitative (descriptive and inferential) statistics and qualitative methods to analyze systematically, interpret and visualize KPI data through dynamic& interactive DASHBOARD to make evidence-based decisions and take corrective actions during the project lifespan.
  • Build a strong foundation for impact measurement and management based on defined goals & thresholds in MEAL framework& Impact Evaluation measurement
  • Offer user-specific access rights to MEAL data under the system to inform project decisions, communicate with external stakeholders like funders, Government and partners, practice adaptive management and maintain greater transparency about successes and challenges.

Our Work

SM-PACT India's Impactful Socio-Economic Survey: Utilizing Own Developed Mobile and Web Application

In Santigachi, Mollakhali Coastal, Sundarban, South 24 PGS, SM-PACT India conducted a small-scale socio-economic survey with active support from Samaj Unnayan Kendra, a well-known social organization working in the area. The survey utilized a customized mobile app that included features such as geo-tagging, online and offline modes, and the ability to take pictures and record short videos developed by SM-PACT India. Trained local women conducted the survey and provided support from SM-PACT India. To monitor progress and guide the women in the field, a web application was developed that provided data-driven insights and mapped the location of the interviewers based on auto collected geo location. The survey was successful and provided valuable information about the socio-economic conditions in the area.
